The region of Murcia is an autonomous region of Spain.
Murcia region is located in the south east of Spain on the Mediterranean coast.
You find the region between the well-known province of Valencia and Andalusia.

We love the Mar Menor , the salt water lagoon nearby the sea. And the nearby La Manga , loved for the great possibilities of nautical sports.
Others prefer the Costa Calida. The Costa Calida of warm coast with the golden beaches of fine sand.

Lorca
Lorca is a large town at the foot of a hill. On the hill stands the famous castle of Lorca. At this point you have a splendid look on the medieval town.
The Murcia gastronomy is of course a Mediterranean cuisine. Typical are the fish and excellent seafood on the coast. Inland the kitchen is more typical. Also stews, roasted meats, rice and salads are on the menu.

The first tour is to “Torre Pachecho”. The participants visit the windmill and the museum.. In april there is also a wind mill fiesta.
Another tour take you to Alhama de Murcia .You will visit the town center with San Lazaro church, Plaza Vieja, El Posito, Los Martires garden, the town hall and the Roman Baths.
A guided tour will take you to San Pedro del Pinitar , to discover the life in the world of salt.
The tour is a walk trough the salt lakes and the pine forest of El Coterillo.
It is a tour for nature lovers and observers of the bird life.
One of the tours is a boat crossing of the mar Menor. The tour leaves from the port in La Manga and will dock in Santiago de La ribera. This tour is planned mid June. During the boat trip you ill learn about the history and the development and the evolution of the Mar Menor.
The last guided tour in English will be to Aguillas, to visit the carnival and the railway monuments, the Plaza de Espana, the local church and the Roman baths. This tour is the 25 June.
